Dear RMACRAO Members,


The RMACRAO Board of Directors have continued to monitor updates and recommendations related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We recently discussed additional considerations such as AACRAO’s decision to shift the annual meeting to a virtual format, continued travel restrictions and budget impacts at many of our member institutions, and the increased demand on time and resources to effectively navigate the ramifications of the pandemic. Therefore, the Board of Directors has decided it is in the best interest of everyone to transition the 2021 RMACRAO Annual Meeting to a virtual event.


This will be our second year hosting a virtual meeting and we are pleased to be in a financial position to be able to offer free registration again for our virtual event.  We hope the no-cost, virtual format will allow more of your staff to attend the annual meeting and take advantage of the professional development opportunity offered by RMACRAO.


We plan to hold the virtual meeting from July 14-16 as originally scheduled, leading up to our Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, July 16th.   Your participation in our Annual Business Meeting is an essential piece of guiding RMACRAO forward – we will continue to use this time to review and approve key items such as the proposed budget, new member application, and new officer elections.
