RMACRAO Professional Development Scholarship
Now Available!

General Information:

• RMACRAO will award a minimum of two scholarships/year, up to $750 each.
• The application deadline is October 1, 2008 for any professional development activity a member plans to attend from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009.
• Examples of professional development activities include (but not exclusive to):
     - Annual Summer Institute for International Admissions
     - EDI in Education Conference
     - Strategic Enrollment Management Conference (SEM)
     - FERPA Workshop
     - AACRAO Technology Conference
     - Registrar 101
     - NACAC
• This scholarship cannot be applied to either RMACRAO annual meetings or AACRAO annual meetings.
• Individuals who are awarded this scholarship will be expected to either write an article for the RMACRAO newsletter about their professional development opportunity or make a presentation on this topic at the next RMACRAO annual meeting. 

To Apply:

1. Print out an application
2. Complete the application and return to your RMACRAO State Vice President.
    (The deadline for applications is October 1)
3. You will be notified of the application results by early to mid-October.

Scholarship Recipients:

If you are chosen to receive this scholarship, you will be expected to provide a photocopy of your expense report to the RMACRAO Treasurer AFTER you have attended the indicated professional development opportunity. Upon receipt, the RMACRAO State Vice President will mail you a check (made out to your institution) for the amount of the scholarship.
